Each year Amazon tries to make Prime Day bigger and better.
As many Amazon sellers may know, Prime Day is an annual deals event just for Prime members, with more than one million deals worldwide. Consumers are looking to find the best deals on your products, and get special offers across everything that is sold on Amazon.
Why is Prime day important for sellers? Well, it is considered the Amazon black Friday version. Prime Day has been proven to be a rocking sales day.
Despite the fact that last year Prime Day was pushed back several times from July 2020 to October 2020; and that most pronostics suggested it was not going to be a success since most consumers were facing an economic downtown over the summer, and most sellers had concerns around stock and shipping during the pandemic; Prime Day turned out to be even bigger than the year before, with an extra $3.24bn-worth of products sold globally. Ecommerce in Europe was worth 717 billion euros at the end of 2020.
What's the timeline for Prime Day that sellers must consider?
