How does transparency work?

  1. Enroll your product on Transparency.

  2. Apply Transparency codes to your products.

  3. Amazon scans Transparency codes to ensure only authentic units are shipped.

  4. Customers can use the Transparency app to authenticate unit-level product details including manufacturing date, manufacturing place, and enhanced product information.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. The ability to verify yourself as the brand owner for your products.

  2. A Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), such as a UPC or EAN barcode on your products.

  3. The ability to apply unique Transparency codes on every unit you manufacture.
