You want to get your products ranking at the top of the searching results to help your business earn more conversions. Follow these tips to improve the ranking of your new products.

  • Ask for Honest Reviews

Products with good reviews rank higher on Amazon. Keep in mind that people will continue buying products that they are satisfied with. Customer satisfaction is key to continue selling.

Keep in mind that when people are looking for the product they want or need before they buy, most of them check the reviews. If the product has only 5-star reviews, they will be skeptical about those reviews being authentic. The reviews must be honest, so when people purchase your products on Amazon ask them to leave an honest review about the product. 

If you find a bad review about your product, try to correct the issue. This will show that you care, so new buyers will be more confident when purchasing from you.

  • Pictures with High Quality

 Pictures are one of the most important elements to helping your business earn conversions. The first thing that a potential customer is going to look at when clicking on your detail page is the picture. By using high-quality images, your audience gets a better look at your products and can see if they are a good fit for their needs. Also, try to answer possible questions with the picture you selected using simple infographics.

  • Positioning Your Product in the Right Node

Make sure that your product is under the optimal category or subcategory. If your product can fall into different categories, you would be competing with different products, so be prudent on the category you choose.

Your Amazon keywords will help you reach relevant leads, which will lead to more conversions and a boost in your ranking. Your most important keyword should be placed in your title. This is the most relevant keyword to your listing.

  • Show the Variety of Your Products with the Parent-Child Feature

This feature allows you to keep all your varieties in one listing. If you offer a product in multiple colors or sizes, your audience wants to see the different options in the same place, so they can decide which one is best for them. Also, the reviews will be in the same place.

  • Optimizing the Price

Before setting the price look at how your competitors list similar products. Amazon will lower your ranking if the price you set is high in comparison with the general price range. Keep in mind that higher prices can be translated into less conversion and that is a parameter that is taken into consideration for the ranking.

  • Increase your Conversion by Answering Questions

We already said that conversion is a parameter that increases your ranking, and answering questions of potential customers may lead to better conversion. People that have questions unanswered are less likely to purchase your product. If you take the time to answer their questions, they might buy from you and, at the same time, you answer to others that might have the same questions.

  • Use of Seller Central

The Manage Inventory section has the “Keyword” and “More Details'' sections. The former can help Amazon to establish relativity to your product like who your target audience is. The latter is the one that helps to refine what people are searching for. In other words, people can add different criteria when looking for a product, narrowing the results making it easier to find the product they want. If your product does not meet the criteria, then it will not show up. The filter may change from time to time, so you need to be careful about the changes and update your information to avoid being left out.
